Managing A Christian Home was the focus of discussion on October 1, 2023. What is a Christian home, and how can you build one? Building a Christian home is a challenging task, and it requires a lot of effort and commitment. As a Christian, are you passionate about creating a home that reflects your faith and values? How can you be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to overcome the everyday challenges of a Christian home? Mr. Kayode Omonayin, the guest on Let’s Talk About Jesus, provided insights into managing a Christian home.
Mr. Omonayin pointed out that a Christian home showcases Jesus Christ and points people towards Him (Jesus), not just through stickers or doormats, but in character and deeds. The Bible provides a blueprint for what a Christian home should be. The distinctive features of a Christian home include preserving, sweetening, brightening, and exemplifying LOVE. As a Christian, you are the light and salt to the world. Is your light still shining, and is your salt still sweetening? A Christian home is distinct by following the blueprint (the Bible). Are you a Christian in Word or indeed? Is your home pointing people to Jesus Christ? If it is not, you can adjust today.
Reading and living the Bible is critical for the success of a Christian home. Prayer is also another vital ingredient needed in every Christian home. Prayer to God is a powerful tool for bringing families together and strengthening their faith. In a Christian home, prayer, among many others, is used to seek guidance and support, to give thanks, and to ask for forgiveness. By making prayer and regular reading of the Bible a central part of their lives, families can create a home grounded in faith and focused on Christ.
The guest spoke about the reality of heaven and hell and how we can choose between life and death. Mr. Omonayin appealed to the viewers/listeners to choose life and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He also encouraged them to find a church and connect with other believers.
