No one is exempted; even seasoned Christians can become discouraged. We live in a world where expectations can be high, and demands can be even higher. When you find yourself enduring difficult circumstances, don’t lose hope. When you face uncertainties about the future, don’t become anxious. Instead, lift your thoughts and your prayers to Jesus, and he will guide you through your difficulties.
Today, I’m going to provide you with six practical steps to conquer the giants in your life. The first principle, you don’t go looking for Goliaths, but you ought to be ready when they show up. You can only face Goliaths when you don’t create them yourselves. The second principle, see some of us have created our own Goliaths and messes in life. We have created our own circumstances and situations that are tearing our lives apart; be careful not to create Goliaths for yourself. The third principle is when you run into the Goliaths of your life, don’t measure them against yourself. Measure them against your God. Remember, we serve a mighty God. The fourth principle, whenever you want to stand up against the giants, even the people you’re related to will get in your way. Do not be discouraged. The fifth principle here is if you’re going to be able to fight Goliath, you had better have some experience with the lion. In other words, to deal with the giants in your life, you need a history with God. Spend time reading his words and pray. Sixth principle, as long as you’re fighting God’s battle, you’re fighting the right battle. If you’re going to represent the Lord, don’t represent him with junk. This principle is if you’re going to serve God, give him your best. Watch on YouTube – Practical Steps to Conquer the Giants in Your Life
