The goal of the enemy is to separate us from God. Who and what we listen to, and watch will affect how we think. Therefore, it is crucial to question negative thoughts. Whatever we focus on becomes stronger. God cannot provide a solution if you always focus on what is wrong. Thoughts turn into actions; actions turn into habits, and habits turn into character. Your thoughts drive your destiny. Learn to focus on who God is in your life.

Lord, help me to keep my mind on you and help me to guard my ears and eyes so that I focus on you. I receive grace to guard my mouth, so I do not harm others.

Philippians 4:7-8 NLT   “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. 8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
