Did you know that you are not a failure? Yes, you are not a failure until you stop trying. The word “failure” is part of life, and it should not be an option. When you failed at your first attempt regardless of what you are trying to do, did you know that does not make you a failure? Failure in some instances is associated with negativity, whereas it is an opportunity to do it over and do it better. Make no mistake to fail in any endeavor is not an easy thing, and nobody prays to fail, and neither does anyone want to fail. However, “If you want to achieve big things, failure is inevitable, but it is what we learn and whether we learn from our failure that determines our success” (Cole, 2021).

Did you ever experience failure? Do you feel your middle name has become a failure, or have you given up because of failure? Are you wondering if you would ever make it beyond your current situation? Well, I have good news for you: when you feel as if you are failing, call on God to take charge. Of course, before you venture into anything, you should ask God for direction. However, regardless of your circumstances, God is always ready to intervene, but you must call on Him. Matthew 11:28 says “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Do not allow failure to redefine you. Yes, there is no doubt that challenges would come, tough times would come, but you must understand that when you wait on God, He will give you rest, and my prayer for you is for God to provide you with courage and strength in the day of adversity (Psalm 27:14). You are not a failure. Know this: your current unpalatable condition is not permanent; hence you must desire wisdom and discretion from the Lord. Never allow your heart to be troubled by the physical manifestation of unpleasant circumstance, instead, belief in God through His son, Jesus Christ (John 14:1).

Yes, you are not a failure, and you must not allow yourself to be one. Many of the challenges you see in your life today are because of the devil trying all his best to destroy what God has made, which is you. It is crucial to comprehend that the spirit controls the physical. Therefore, you must know how to communicate with God by yourself. In John 14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” Jesus is the only approved mediator, not another human being like you and me. In Romans 8:26, the bible says, “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” While your flesh may not want to pray or not know what you should pray about, rely on Holy Spirit, trust that Jesus is enough for you, and take the next step by faith in the Son of God.

Keep in mind, however, that sometimes you may not like the result you see. Just because the outcome does not look like what you expect does not mean God did not answer your prayers. Hence, the more reason you should know God for yourself. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9); You must understand that God’s silence is also a form of answer hence the need for divine discretion for your daily living. God is not moved by your sentiment but by your obedience to Him and His word. The more you rely on God, the less you trust your flesh and vice versa. No matter how difficult things may appear to be, “Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!” Psalm 27:14 Finally, I leave you with the word of Jesus Christ in John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” REMEMBER, YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE.
